GENESIS ONE offers partnering opportunities for individuals, churches, ministries, and businesses. We have expanded these opportunities to include joint efforts to further encourage groups to come together with GENESIS ONE in any or all of three basic support areas: Volunteering, Prayer, and Financial.
GENESIS ONE is a network of like-minded partners who want to participate in this rewarding prison reentry effort.
Our Partnering Support Program offers several opportunities to become a key source partner with GENESIS ONE. Many individuals, churches, ministries, and businesses have chosen over the last ten years to be a part of the GENESIS ONE vision and to support this effort by utilizing one or more of the following opportunity paths: Volunteering, Prayer, and Financial Support. Please read the following material carefully to determine where you may contribute.
A key strength of GENESIS ONE is its cadre of tireless and dedicated Christian volunteers. We always have need of both in-prison volunteers and volunteers involved with our reentry efforts.
Each GENESIS ONE chapter requires a chapter sponsor team that oversees the chapter's activities: administrators, motivators, prayer partners and special speakers. Chapters are located throughout the state which creates opportunities in many locations statewide. GENESIS ONE volunteers must have an approved OK. D.O.C. Volunteer Badge and must be seriously committed to the successful rehabilitation of offenders back into society.
Reentry involves a variety of volunteers: mentors, facilitators, and other related support positions. Most of these positions are located in the Tulsa and OKC. Reentry positions do not require a DOC Volunteer Badge. Following are a few position opportunities:

GENESIS ONE maintains an internal quarterly prayer list designated the 'GENESIS ONEPrayer Network' or 'G1-PN'. G-1PN is designed to bring the full body of GENESIS ONE volunteers, supporters, and GENESIS ONE offender members into agreement concerning prayers for GENESIS ONE and GENESIS ONE related issues.

GENESIS ONE is supported by the Christian community. Its financial resource base includes individuals, churches, ministries, and businesses. While our primary goal is returning Godly offenders safely to their families and society, the additional cost savings from the GENESIS ONE program is remarkable.
Our annual budget involves the managing, operating, and administering the GENESIS ONE reentry program through 27 chapters located throughout the state of Oklahoma. The number of offenders currently participating in the GENESIS ONE program is approximately 1,400.
The annual cost of incarcerating an individual in Oklahoma is approximately $18,140/year. With a recidivism rate of less than 20% GENESIS ONE literally saves the State of Oklahoma and its taxpayers millions annually.
Our current projected operating budget for 2012 is $140,000. Major budget items include fuel and vehicle expenses of over $40,000/year, printing & communications at $20,000/year, and personnel costs of $50,000/year. The resulting annual expense of maintaining 1,400 members is $100/member/year.
We ask each of you to pray and consider becoming a financial partner with GENESIS ONE's incredibly effective low-cost reentry program that not only returns Godly offenders to society but insures their greater chance of success in society. Financial participation may be accomplished in one or more of the following ways:
Based upon our $100/member/year operating cost, the annual allocated cost of maintaining a chapter varies with the size of the facility and the number of active GENESIS ONE members enrolled in that chapter. Chapters may be adopted by churches, ministries, business, individuals, or a combination or group. Chapters may have several adopters to fulfill their annual budget allocation. Several chapters may be adopted by the same entity. The adopting entity may now have a much more personal connection with GENESIS ONE and with its own chapter partner which will keep them posted on its progress and will pray for the A-A-C adopter as well. We are currently matching A-A-C for the remaining 6 months of 2011 and for 2012.

We have established the Adopt-A-Member program to further encourage and provide opportunity for individual supporters to financially contribute to GENESIS ONE. The annual cost to GENESIS ONE to operate the GENESIS ONE reentry program is $100/member/year. With this small amount we are able to maintain the distant chapters throughout the State of Oklahoma that offer a structured environment for successful transition from prison to society.
Please consider adopting as many GENESIS ONE members as you may wish. Every $100 covers the expenses of a GENESIS ONE member for one year from beginning to end. One at $100, five at $500, ten at $1,000...to as many as you are led to bless.
